追思文 （Ernie）

Ah Bei cared deeply for everyone in the Cheng family and was revered by the younger generation. I will always remember Ah Bei for his devotion to our family, his optimistic outlook on life and his warm smile.

My dad had so much respect and admiration for Ah Bei and it was natural for me to always try to follow any advice from Ah Bei or do things to make him proud. Ah Bei acted like a second father to me, especially when my dad passed away last year. Whenever we talked privately, I felt inspired by his words of wisdom and unconditional encouragement.

In good times and bad, Ah Bei knew the right thing to say and could bring out the best in people through his focus on optimistic thinking. Ah Bei would often tell me how proud he was of me and everyone in the next generation of the Cheng family. Whether it was related to our personal or professional accomplishments, he just wanted to make sure that we were happy in our lives and that we could help support each other. He would often stress the importance of having the Cheng cousins getting together because he valued having a tightly knit extended family.

I will be eternally grateful to Ah Bei for everything he has taught me and will miss him dearly. Ah Bei will live in our hearts forever.
